We welcomed new children in our Infant room. As we welcomed them, we focused more on building relationships and connection with them by providing a welcoming and warm environment for them so that every child feels safe and comfortable. We provided them with various open ended activities so that the children can engage, explore and learn at their own pace. The children explored the sandbox, new toys, and various fun activities for the first week of September. As they engaged in these activities, we noticed the children growing more confident and comfortable in their interactions with their educators and peers. We encouraged peer interactions too as we watched the children interacting and sharing moments which was wonderful to see. We also noticed moments of them exploring and experimenting with the materials. We will continue to provide the children with these consistent, engaging and safe environment and routines so they can learn and grow in their own pace while continuing to build on positive relationships and connections with them.
